Lois Carolyn (Rennie) Frischolz, age 94, of Jeannette, passed away peacefully on Monday, March 9, 2026 in William Penn Care Center. She was born on December 31, 1931 in Elizabeth Township to the late Harvey W. Rennie, Sr. and the late Ellen Elizabeth (Joll) Rennie.
She was employed by US Steel, Clairton and Airtek, Irwin. She was a member of Circleville United Methodist Church. Lois loved her family and friends, helping others, flowers, dancing, her dogs Trixie and Sweetie, and music. She was an accomplished pianist who enjoyed entertaining the seniors. She was always making new friends. She was loved deeply and will forever be missed by those who knew her. Her memory will live on in the hearts of everyone that loved her.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William F. Frischolz, Sr. in 2006; brother, Harvey W. (the late Lois) Rennie, Jr.; and grandson, Brett Frischolz. Lois is survived by a daughter, Lynne (Albert) Karanovich of Jeannette; a son, Dale (Darlene Regina) Rosendahl of Mesa, AZ; grandchildren, Justin (Henry Avery) Rosendahl and Katilin (Daniel) Parker; many nieces and nephews; extended family Rick (Joyce) Frischolz of North Huntingdon, and their children and grandchildren.
Friends will be received at Lindsay-Jobe Funeral Home, 3343 Route 130, Harrison City, on Friday, March 13, 2026 from 10 am - 12 pm followed by parting prayers at the funeral home. Interment will follow in the Round Hill Cemetery, Elizabeth.
