John Moore, age 74, died at his home in Jefferson Hills, Pennsylvania on Thursday, March 14, 2024. He was born John Leonard Moore on January 8, 1950, one of two sons of Thomas O’Malley Moore and Audra (VanWey) Moore.
John was a steel worker, working for Allegheny Ludlum Steel at plants in Houston Mills, and Brackenridge, Pennsylvania and US Steel Corporation. He loved riding motorcycles, especially his Harley; loved his cats and loved all animals.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Thomas O’Malley Moore II. He is survived by his fiancé Sandra Lynn Dell, with whom he lived; his nephew, Thomas O’Malley Moore III and his wife, Michele and two nieces, Melanie Tate and her husband, Mark and Michelle Moore.
As per his wishes there will be no funeral services.
John was known to be very generous with family members and friends.
