Inge Ward, 83, of Belle Vernon, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, April 15, 2026 in her home. A daughter of the late Heinrich and Marie (Schneider) Krohn, she was born in Czechoslovakia on February 5, 1943.
A resident of Belle Vernon since 1972, Inge formerly resided in Maihingen, Germany for 29 years. Catholic by faith, she was a member of St. Sebastian Roman Catholic Church.
Inge is survived by her husband of 57 years, Jessie Ward Sr., a daughter and son in-law, Sabine and Scott Lynn of Belle Vernon, two grandchildren, Sierra Lynn of Robinson Twp. and Sam (Bre) Lynn of Burgettstown; a great grandson, Azrael Ward; and her siblings, Marianne Brennan of New York, Ute Gulick of Germany, and Arno Krohn of Germany. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sons, Jesse Ward Jr. on July 3, 1993 and Keith Ward on July 12, 1993, a grandson, Jesse Ward III on June 25, 2022, and many brothers and sisters.
Friends will be received on Friday, April 17, 2026 from 6 to 8 P.M. in the Ferguson Funeral Home and Crematory, 700 Broad Avenue, Belle Vernon. 724-929-5300. www.FergusonFuneralHomeandCrematory.com.
