Elaine A. David, age 71, formerly of Clairton, passed away in Overlook Green on Tuesday, September 8, 2026. She was a member of St. Joachim and Anne Parish, Queen of the Rosary Church in Glassport, where she was a former council member and active with the parish fish fries. She was a caregiver by nature, helping many local family and friends. Born January 2, 1955 in New Eagle, she was a daughter of the late William H. Homa Sr. and Josephine (Godlesky) Homa, and wife of the late James M. David. She is survived by siblings, William H. (Cheryl) Homa Jr. of Elizabeth Twp., David C. Homa of Lincoln Borough, Joan (Joel) Hodinko of Elizabeth Twp., Robert (Dora) Homa of Elizabeth Twp., Paula Homa of State College and Joyce E. Homa of Glassport; also, nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by siblings, Mary Jean Holnaider, Daniel Homa and Rita Barnett. There will be a Memorial Mass as Queen of the Rosary Church in Glassport on Friday, September 11, 2026 at 10 AM with the Rev. Ed Wichman officiating. Committal will be at Round Hill Cemetery in Elizabeth Twp. on Tuesday, September 15, 2026 at 10 AM with the Rev. Thomas J. Burke officiating.
