Donna M. Busch, age 64 of Elizabeth, PA, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family and friends on Thursday, October 22, 2026, after a long battle with Alzheimer’s.
She was born on November 14, 1961, in McKeesport, PA one of two children of the late Joseph & Lena Rice.
Donna built a life marked by devotion to her family, her faith, and her work. She was a graduate of Serra Catholic High School, earned her bachelor’s degree from IUP, and received her MBA from Duquesne University. In her professional life, she worked as a payroll manager at BNY Mellon.
She was a member of Saints Joachim and Anne Parish and carried her Catholic faith with her throughout her life. Donna was also bilingual and fluent in Spanish, a language she learned from her mother’s family and cherished deeply.
Donna loved animals and bird watching, enjoyed monthly gatherings for the family ladies poker club, and looked forward to casino trips and traveling. Yearly family beach trips created lasting memories, and she also enjoyed playing bingo. These interests reflected her love of togetherness, fun, and time well spent with those she loved.
Above all, Donna will be remembered for the love she shared with her family. She is survived by her husband, Gary Busch; daughter, Sarah Busch; brother, Chuck (Lisa) Rice and their children, Brittany, Kaitlyn, Rachel & Jesse; cousin, Margie; and relatives in Florida and New Jersey.
