Jeanne Donaldson Brown Obituary
Jeanne (Warren) Donaldson Brown, age 92, of Rostraver Twp. and formerly of Elizabeth, passed away Monday, October 5, 2026 at Mt. Vernon of South Park. She retired after 11 years as a music teacher in the Frazier School District and was a member of First Presbyterian Church in Elizabeth. She loved gardening and was very proud of her garden. She enjoyed canning her own vegetables and cutting grass on her John Deere. She had a very impressive clock collection that she maintained for years. Born November 25, 1933 in Forward Twp., she was a daughter of the late Samuel H. and Hazel (Rankin) Warren and wife of the late James Brown. She is survived by her son, David S. (Cindy) Donaldson of Rostraver Twp., and several stepchildren, stepgrandchildren and step-great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Benjamin Donaldson, and brother, William Warren. Friends and family will be received in the Paul E. Bekavac Funeral Home, Elizabeth, on Thursday, October 8, 2026 from 4-7 PM. A funeral service will take place on Friday, October 9, 2026 at 10 AM in the funeral home chapel with the Rev. Benjamin Schneider officiating. Burial will follow in Round Hill Cemetery, Elizabeth Twp. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Washington Area Humane Society, PO Box 66, Eighty Four, PA 15330.
