Ray Edwin Ver Steeg, 56, of Allison Park died Tuesday, May 24, 2022. Born in Burbank, CA on February 10, 1966, he was the son of Ralph Edwin and Rebecca Lois (Guffey) Ver Steeg, who survive and reside in Elizabeth.
Ray owned and operated 2 Subway Restaurants for over 30 years.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his brother, Steven (Marae) Ver Steeg of Tomball, TX; sister, Roanna Barclay of Boise, ID; and nieces and nephews, Logan, Lauren and AJ Barclay and Kristianna, Greigory, Liam and Nathan Ver Steeg.
Ray was preceded in death by his brother, Mark Ver Steeg.
Friends will be received on Friday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. in the James C. Stump Funeral Home Inc., 580 Circle Drive, Rostraver Township (724-929-7934) www.jamesstumpfuneralhome.com where a Funeral Service will be held on Saturday at 11 a.m. with Rev. Mark Woomer officiating. Interment will follow in Round Hill Cemetery.
